Since 2013, we've been leading guided hikes around town, usually on the second Sunday of each month. It's a great way to learn about our town's trails in a group setting.
Our hikes are free unless otherwise noted and family friendly. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the fun.
Join Friends of North Andover Trails for an afternoon hike on the Bay Circuit Trail, a permanent recreation trail and greenway extending through 37 towns.
We'll meet at 1PM at the main entrance to Boxford State Forest at the end of Sharpner's Pond Road. The hike will follow the new route of the Bay Circuit Trail to the remote eastern corner of North Andover and into Middleton.
This will last about 1.5 hours, over easy terrain.
Friends of North Andover Trails is part of the North Andover Improvement Society,
a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1885 and devoted to preserving the natural beauties and history of North Andover.
